South Korean IT giant Samsung has begun developing new technology for its smartphones. We are talking about "invisible" cameras located under the screens of gadgets.

Fingerprint scanners in smartphones are still considered a new technology. But now they are placed under the glass displays so that they can not be seen with the naked eye. This solution saves the usable area of the front panel of the smartphone.

Already today, Samsung is equipping its Galaxy S10 smartphones with Ifinity displays, which have a small hole for the sensor. The company's engineers emphasize that it was not easy to create technology for making holes in OLED matrices, but such a solution ultimately paid off. And now, under these displays, they plan to install cameras, but so far there are a number of technical difficulties preventing the implementation of this scheme. According to experts, in the next 2 years all these problems will be solved, and new “smartphones” will receive “invisible” cameras.
