Vertical lasers called VCSEL will be placed in a special layer of the display (now they are used in TrueDepth). They will help to fix even the slightest deformation of the display when touched. The company has already managed to get a patent for this project. Currently, experts are deciding how exactly they will use the innovative development. Experts highlight several features: improved 3d touch, reliable Touch ID in the display, significantly improved anti-glare.
