SanDisk announced the start of sales of the world's most capacious microSD memory card. The product is called SanDisk microSDXC UNS-I. Volume - 1 Tb. The official presentation of the new product took place in January this year at the exhibition of mobile gadgets MWC. There, SanDisk representatives said that it is supposed to install the card in flagship smartphones and in 4K / UHD video recorders.
The product was created in accordance with the Arp Prefomance 2 specification, and therefore, the IORS indicator (i.e., the number of input and output operations per second) is 4,000 and 2,000 operations, respectively. The manufacturer claims that the new card can record information at a speed of up to 90 MB / s. Data is read at the maximum speed for the UHS-I protocol, but in special gadgets compatible with the card, the read speed can reach 160 MB / s. The product is protected from temperature extremes and high humidity. It is steady against x-ray radiation. The manufacturer's recommended retail price is $ 450.
