The social network "Vkontakte" is suing a popular online service that allows you to search for people by photos. The publication "Economics Today" reports that we are talking about the SearchFace service, which is an analogue of the famous Findface.
The Vkontakte team announced a violation of the rules by this service. One of the company's specialists believes this trial is a full-fledged defense of the interests of the users themselves. SearchFace does not provide for user consent regarding the collection and use of personal information about users on the Internet, and potential violations of their rights arise from this. It is noteworthy that the first data on the lawsuit appeared on the expanses of the global web on February 12.
