A few weeks ago there were speculations about the frameless future of Apple's next-generation budget iPhone SE. Today there are new leaks with relatively high-quality renderings, confirming such user guesses. Among the insiders was the manufacturer of Olixar covers, whose developments confirm the lack of a framework for the new product.

In addition to the tempered glass shown for SE2, Olixar developed a render of the iPhone itself, based on earlier leaks. They clearly show that the shape of the case remains almost identical to the five, but the screen, at the same time, has lost frames from the bottom and top. A cut-out a la iPhone X appeared at the top, where the Face ID sensors, speaker and front camera will be placed, and the Home button disappeared from below.

The dimensions of the future news, according to sources, will be 121 × 55.8 millimeters, which is less than the original SE. Photos of covers and protective glasses may turn out to be fake, but photos of accessories can be considered reliable. So, on the expanses of Weibo, a snapshot of the screen module of the compact novelty appeared. Doubts about the development of SE2 dispelled Evan Blass, posting a picture with the inscription “project name - iPhone SE2 (2019).

OnLeaks, a well-known insider designer, joined the aforementioned leaks, this time creating the drawings for SE2. In his opinion, the new product will be similar to 5 / 5S / SE, the camera will be left behind, and the buttons on the left side will still be round. His opinion of the screen coincides with the early layout of his own production.

According to preliminary information, Apple iPhone SE2 can be shown on June 4, at WWDC2019.
