IT analysts have been arguing for a long time about which device will replace the Mi 8 Pro smartphone. This week the situation cleared up: a Chinese company registered a new Xiaomi brand - Mi 9T. The device has been certified in Thailand by NTBC. In documents, it passes under the number M1903F10G. The certificate has already been recognized by the Economic Commission for Europe. It also operates in Singapore and Taiwan.

Now Xiaomi's smartphone lineup already includes such models as Mi 9, Mi 9 SE and Mi 9 (Transparent Edition). For this reason, analysts are confident that the newly certified smartphone will be the successor to the Mi 8 Pro. There is a second assumption. A certified smartphone is a premium regional version of its predecessor, which differs from it in increased memory, a back panel made of glass and a quad main camera, rumors about which appeared long before the official presentation of Xiaomi Mi 9. But Xiaomi officials are in no hurry to share details about the certified device.
