Rumors about the release of the Sega Mega Drive Mini gaming retro console appeared on the network in mid-2019. Then the manufacturer promised to establish the release of consoles by the end of December, but nothing happened.

A new wave of rumors that arose in January assures potential buyers that the console will be released in Japan September 19, 2019. It is also reported that in the retro console will be installed game hits of past years, such as Comix Zone, Powerball, Shining Forse and, of course, Sonic.
In total, Sega promises to load 40 games into the device’s memory, and they will differ depending on the region. A standard USB interface is used to power the set-top box, and the device is connected to the TV with a regular HDMI cable. For gamepads, micro-USB connectors are used, and the resolution of the video displayed on the screen is 720 pixels. It is also known that the cost of a retro console in Japan will vary from 60 to 80 dollars, depending on the number of gamepads included in the package.
