Not all smartphones can boast a camera with five high-quality lenses. But the review came to us just such a mobile device - Nokia 9. This flagship model received not only an outstanding camera, but also pretty decent characteristics.

Equipment

The device came to us without an official delivery kit, but the manufacturer notes that in the box with the smartphone, the buyer will find instructions, a clip for the SIM tray, a power adapter, a USB Type-C cable. In some trim levels there will be a protective cover.

Design

The case of the device is made of tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5. The front is a display with significant indentation in the upper and lower parts, but the side frames are quite narrow.

A fast fingerprint scanner is built into the screen. The glass back panel got five photomodules, a dual LED flash and a TOF sensor, all of which together form a kind of circle. You can also see the logos of Nokia, Zeiss and Android One. The bottom end has a USB Type-C port, but there was no headphone jack. But there is reliable protection against water and IP67 dust. Color scale: dark blue. Dimensions: thickness - 8 mm, height - 155 mm, weight - 172 g, width - 75 mm.

Display

The flagship has at its disposal a 5.99-inch screen, which received a resolution of 2880 by 1440 pixels. It uses a P-OLED matrix with support for the HDR10 function. There is also Always on Display technology, thanks to which important information (time, date of notification) is displayed on the display even in a locked state.

It should be noted excellent detail, gorgeous viewing angles and really rich colors.

Performance

The Nokia 9 houses an eight-core Snapdragon 845 processor, clocked at 2800 MHz. It includes the productive Kryo 385 Gold and Silver cores, as well as the Adreno 630 graphics accelerator. The user can count on 6 GB of RAM. Another 128 GB is allocated as file storage. There is no separate microSD card slot in the device. Inside installed a battery with a capacity of 3320 mAh. There is support for Quick Charge 3.0 - fast charging technology. There is the possibility of using Qi wireless charging. The smartphone is developed as part of a special program Android One, which implies a constant update of the system by air. There is no proprietary shell, so the user gets "bare" Android 9.0. In the AntTu test, the device shows a good result - about 242,000 points. All services, games and applications run without slowdowns.

Camera

The highlight of the gadget was the main camera with five sensors and Zeiss optics. Moreover, all modules are 12-megapixel, three of them are monochrome. Sensors have aperture of 1.8. There is a dual LED flash in two colors. Such a camera is capable of high-quality shooting at any time of the day.

On the front side is a front camera with 20 megapixels.

Sound

The speakers in Nokia 9 are pretty loud. There is a good amplifier that performs well when listening to music through wireless headphones. Provides high quality audio and aptX codec support.

Price

The official European price of the device is 620 euros. In Russia, an appropriate price tag is expected. Now, upon reservation, the phone can be purchased for 50,000 rubles.

Conclusion

Nokia 9 boasts an innovative camera. Although the quality of shooting can not be called breakthrough, but overall it is very high. I would like to highlight a juicy display with a resolution of 2K, as well as Android Pie, which will be regularly updated.
