Equipment
The smartphone is sold in a wrapper familiar to a Finnish company. In the box, in addition to the smartphone, you can find headphones, ear pads for them and a transparent protective bumper. Along with this are the charging wire, plug and USB Type-C wire.
Design and display
Nokia 7.1 looks very unique and stylish, it does not feel secondary in design. Unusual colors are on sale, namely: Gloss Midnight Blue and Gloss Steel. The dark blue version expresses solidarity and severity, while the white version with “copper” inserts looks stylish.
I am glad that the front part in both versions is black, this hides the ridiculous frame around the screen and adds style. The dimensions of the smartphone are 149.7 x 71.2, the case thickness is 8 mm. And the weight is 160 g.

Two rear cameras are beautifully designed in their own way. They are located behind in the center on a long, slightly convex surface. Two barely noticeable cameras and a flash under them look cool and unusual. This is where the uniqueness of the design ends. Under the inserts for the cameras, in the usual place, a fingerprint sensor. Headphone jack on top. The charging port is located below, there is also a speaker. Unlock button and volume rocker on the right. The tray for SIM cards and a memory card is on the left. The lid is glass, not removable.
In front of the smartphone, Finnish engineers did not cook anything unusual. Although not, one feature was brought in, it is HDR10 support, but it is unlikely to be of much use - converting video to HDR will not really improve the picture quality. The Nokia 7.1 smartphone has a regular IPS screen with a resolution of 2280 x 1080, 432 ppi. Screen occupies 80% of the area. Even worse, they introduced a trendy “monobrow” from the well-known apple smartphone. But this neckline looks pretty cute and has a good sense.
Thanks to this "bang" the front part is involved as useful as possible. Until you open the full-screen mode, the status bar is conveniently located in the “monobrow”, and the line below it is freed for useful content. In landscape mode, the screen around the cutout simply goes blank and is not used in any way, since the screen format is 19: 9 at 5.84 inches. So you can watch the video fully without any blemishes.
Features and Performance
Its characteristics are not impressive. RAM is only 3 or 4 GB, which may be small even for simple browsing. There is very little internal memory, it is 32 or 64 GB. Fortunately, you can install a memory card up to 400 GB. There are slots for two SIM cards. In Antutu, the smartphone scored 99.811 points, the CPU 22.787 points, UX 32.724 points and 3D 33.270, respectively.

Inside the Nokia 7.1 a brand new but weak Snapdragon 636 processor is installed. This is a 14-nanometer chip with eight cores with a frequency of 1.8GHz (Kryo 260). Thanks to this chipset, you can surf the Internet without problems, take photos, flip through the feed in social networks. networks and perform other simple tasks. But with more complex processes, such as games, multitasking, etc., the processor will cope with difficulty. But there is a plus. The smartphone will practically not heat up due to the low frequencies of all the cores, which are not divided into clusters. This is very useful for a glass case. Also, such a solution will have a great effect on battery wear, because the more energy-efficient the processor, the longer the battery life of the gadget. So Nokia 7.1 is not for gamers. It is an exclusively business smartphone.
A 3060 mAh battery will charge you every night. Thanks to the energy-saving processor, with moderate use, the phone will "live" a maximum of 24 hours.
Camera
She does not surprise, but does not disappoint. Front camera 8 MP, F / 2.0. The main one is a dual camera (12 megapixels + 5 megapixels) with Zeiss optics, which, incidentally, the manufacturer kindly recalls by writing the name of this company in the area for cameras. Main module: RGB, 12 MP, F / 1.8, 1.28 μm, PDAF. The add-on module is black and white, only 5 megapixels, F / 2.4, 1.12 microns. Video is frankly weak, only 1080p at 30fps is available.

Sound
The speaker in the smartphone is one, not stereo. It is located on the bottom and is made in the form of two thin cutouts in the corner. The speaker in the monobrow is small and inconspicuous, but it did not get any worse. We paid more attention to the sound in the headphones - the smartphone deserves the title of music because of the high-quality amplifier. Yes, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack in place.
Price
The price ranges from 319 euros to 349 euros. For this money, the user receives a mid-budget processor, 3-4 GB of RAM and 32-64 permanent, an average camera and an IPS screen with a "cutout". Should I give such money for Nokia against the background of Chinese competitors? Unlikely.
