Design

The XZ3 was Sony's second flagship phone to receive a completely new Ambient Flow design. We will no longer be able to single out the Xperia line, because it possessed a unique and inimitable charisma, namely an abundance of straight lines and angles. Now, Japanese designers still decided to get away from a long-term concept in favor of everything rounded. As a result, we have a spectacular glass case with a metal frame around the perimeter. The edges of the device have become sloping, and all faces are rounded. This allows you to comfortably hold the device in your hand, even taking into account its considerable weight.

As already noted, the back of the case is made of glass. There is a fingerprint scanner, a large peephole of the main camera, some sensors and a flash. Moreover, all these elements observe a clear symmetry. The front side was occupied by a bezelless screen covered with 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5. Its side frames are really meager. The indentations above and below are more substantial, but their thickness remains within reason. All buttons for navigation are placed directly on the display. At the bottom there is not only a microphone, but also a USB Type-C connector. The upper edge got a slot for SIM cards and an additional microphone. The device is able to run absolutely any application without any problems. Moreover, the performance margin is enough for a few more years of easy use of the device.

Camera

The Xperia XZ3 smartphone received the main 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with f / 2.0 aperture and a powerful flash. Particularly well, the camera manages slow-motion shooting, as well as recording 4K video. You can create funny three-dimensional portraits. The camera itself starts instantly. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not equip it with optical stabilization, which would be very helpful. There is also a 13-megapixel front camera. There is a background blur function, it can be used when creating a self portrait.

Sound

The device is capable of working in stereo mode when a conversational speaker “connects” to the multimedia speaker. The sound is quite juicy and loud.Supports LDAC technology, which is designed to listen to music in wireless headphones.
